My Basement Finishing Project

I spent the weekend converting the small closet at the bottom of the stairs into a DVD storage area. Here are some pictures.

Wow. Handy dandy. I need some shelving in my apartment, you wanna help out?

It wasn't that hard, even you could do it.
I forgot to put something on the open ends to prevent the dvd's from tipping over. I cut 4" high pieces of 1x6 last night that I will attach to the ends. They will cover the 2x2 bracing underneath as well. Should be a cleaner look.

It looks so extremely nice I could not explain.Thanks for the picture I am going to build one similar to this for my corner in the bedroom....but for my music cds of course.
